Philippine Police Raid Senate to Execute ICC Warrant for Ronald Dela Rosa
Philippine authorities are currently raiding the Senate building to execute an International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant against Senator Ronald Dela Rosa, who has taken refuge inside. Dela Rosa is wanted in The Hague for crimes against humanity stemming from his role in overseeing the deadly anti-narcotics campaign under former President Rodrigo Duterte. The raid follows Duterte’s own arrest in March 2025; the former president remains detained at The Hague.
